Legault Sod Farms is a family-owned business that was established in 1995 by Andre Legault. Since then, Andre has earned a reputation for delivering quality sod, friendly service and helpful advice to his valued customers.

The sod farm is located on 300 acres of clay-loam type soil in the City of Timmins, Ontario.

Legault Sod Farms is a proud member of the OFA (Ontario Federation of Agriculture).

How to feed your lawn?

Just as we require food to survive, so does your lawn. We recommend fertilizing your lawn three times per year.

First feeding should be in the spring once the snow melts. This feeding should help green up the sod. 

The second feeding should be in mid-July when you are expecting rain or able to water the sod, to help combat weeds and improve overall plant health. 

The last feeding should be in the fall before the first snow fall to help your turf withstand our harsh winter conditions.
